Here’s hoping I say here’s hoping again lol

Turnovers killed it.

play calling killed it

OSU played stifling defense in the second half. The turnovers were not due to our players being careless, but due to OSU’s excellent defensive play. I agree that our offense played way too conservative in the second half. What was up with all the running up the middle? Everybody knows OSU is excellent against the run and that our running game was weak this year.

Anyway, our losses this year were at #1 Notre Dame (by 7 points), vs #2 in Dallas, at #4 OSU (by 5 points) and at #12 Nebraska (Denard went down in the second quarter). We probably had one of the toughest schedules this year.

Borges still better be on the hot seat coming into this bowl game. Whoever has to play us knows they will have a 100% Denard and Gardner to deal with. Borges has all the weapons he could need AND the element of surprise. If he can’t put together a well called game, even if it is against an SEC D, we need to seriously look into replacing him.

undefeated ND and OSU

what a horrible day

OSU chose to honor Jim Tressel and the 2002 NC team on the field prior to the game. Nothing wrong with honoring the team of course, but to allow Tressel anywhere near the field to get applauded alongside them? It just makes it appear to me that Ohio State could care less about how they win, as long as they do it and beat Michigan.

Indeed, rjk. I think Tressel’s presence at Ohio Stadium yesterday must had played a significant impact in holding Denard to -2 yds of rushing and fumble in the 2nd half. Perhaps even the 4 turnovers and the 396 yds of combined passing and rushing allowed by the Wolverines. Seriously though, I think instead of continue to focus on our former coach, Michigan should reconsider hiring Les Miles if not reinstate Lolyd Carr since both did beat our current coach Urban Meyer in the past or hiring AP NFL Coach of the Year, former Stanford HC Jim Harbaugh for the long haul. In short, I look forward to our next rivalry game in the Big House. Go Bucks!! :)

“Seriously though, I think instead of continue to focus on our former coach…”

Ohio State allowed your former cheating coach onto the field to get applauded. That speaks volumes to me about the importance of running a clean program at tOSU. Just wondering if any lessons were actually learned at Ohio State? It seems the only thing that matters is to win and hope you don’t get caught after you cheat. If you do get caught; deny, deny, deny and then invite the person who LIED back to be respected and admired by Buckeye fans everywhere. There is no respect here for a school that allows such things to happen.

Of course no lessons were learned. They don’t think they did anything wrong and that Tressel was a victim or a “Tragic Hero” rather than a perpetrator or an enabler.

This is why the fab five banners are in the archives and not in the rafters and why Chris Webber will never be honored at Crisler Center.

It was a good game and hard fought. Ohio was a little bit better and won by a few points. We probably were good enough to win at the big house but not the snake pit.

One word - Clowney

One word - HUH?

Three letters S E C

Clowney made one big play in the game, thanks to a completely missed defensive assignment. The media played it up so much, that you would have thought he dominated the entire game. In reality, he was pretty much held in check.

“Denard is a beast.”
@ThisIsMichigan , please stop referring to black players as beast. That is very racist.
