I'm applying to Roski for photography and I was wondering how good the program was/ how difficult it is to be accepted, and if taking classes at the other schools is possible.
Thanks!

Why don’t you want to go to a community college for a certificate in professional photography? If you look at the minors offered at Roski Fine Arts, you will see a number of wonderful minors which include Photography classes. I think a minor at Roski in combination with a major at Annenberg, Viterbi or Marshall makes an awesome package. However, if you really want a full time Photography program and little academics, you might want to consider a community college or a fine arts college.

well, Ive always wanted USC and Im hoping to take classes at Annenberg, but its such a competitve program my chances of getting in are slim.
do you know what the acceptance rate is like at Roski?

Getting accepted into Roski will be based on your portfolio. So acceptance rates might not be the most useful thing.

I don’t think getting accepted to Roski is that hard… it’s a pretty small school in general so… I was an art major and now I’m an art minor but really, not that hard.

Look at usc.edu and type in minors at the top search. Look at the minors offered at Roski Fine Arts. You will see a minor which includes Photography classes and is geared towards students at Annenberg. If you honestly do not think you would get accepted into Annenberg,
is there another major you would want at USC? Another possibility is a major at Roski and a minor via the Annenberg school. I love the variety of minors offererd at USC.

Just wondering if the acceptance rate is lower than for undecideds or Letters, Arts, Science college? THANKS.

My guess is that its GENERALLY more difficult to get into Annenberg over CLAS. However there will be exceptions for some majors. But as a whole, I’d say CLAS is easier to get into than Annenberg. As for undecided vs CLAS, I believe if you’re undecided, you’re automatically in CLAS (with the exception being an undeclared engineering major, in which case it’d be more difficult than getting into CLAS).

There’s no acceptance rate for CLAS… I mean if you don’t get into the school of your choice and come in as an undecided, you get into CLAS. It’s just guaranteed once you are accpted to USC.

if i decided to apply to both roski and annenberg, could i get accepted into both?
