How hard is IEOR?

How hard is IEOR in general? Im thinking of doing IEOR but I want to know what Im getting myself into first. Is it just as math intensive as engineering disciplines? If anyone has taken an IEOR course could you please tell me how your experience was.

Probably more emphasis on math and statistics. Take a look at the course descriptions:

[General Catalog - Industrial Engineering Courses](http://general-catalog.berkeley.edu/catalog/gcc_list_crse_req?p_dept_name=Industrial+Engineering&p_dept_cd=IND+ENG&p_path=l)

Pretty easy grading-wise TBH, average GPA is like 3.4ish. The major is small, and you pretty much know everyone else. Yes, it’s a bit more emphasis on probability and statistics, but there’s not much “pure” math. Like most engineering majors, you can stop at Math 54.

There’s also some business-like classes where you discuss design decisions, leadership, and whatnot. Overall, I’d say it’s like the child of EECS/ME (technical side) and Econ/UGBA.
