I heard that it's extremely hard, but my dad told me that his friend got into UCLA as an intl. and he had horrible grades, around 2.0. My dad knows him well so he's not just a guy in his class or w/e

Since you said it's your dad's friend, at the time that he was admitted, admissions was probably a LOT easier than what it is nowadays.
Getting in as international is "hard" but not as hard as you are thinking I guess... I think what got me in was "diversity" instead of high scores, but you never know...
PS: You've been asking this kind of question a lot lately huh? Just relax...

i got rejected to UCLA as international applicant and i applied next year with having greencard which I got accpeted!

How did you get a greencard in a year?

"PS: You've been asking this kind of question a lot lately huh? Just relax..."

really? i dunno, this is such a huge forum that sometimes i forget whether i asked something before :p

well I'm intl' and I got in, "how hard is it" isn't an objective question, it's subjective. Difficulty is relative to other things. So well we've established that there aree international students, so it's not impossible. And it's probably a bit harder than in-state, but it's impossible to answer exactly how hard it is.

oh my greencard process was about 5-6yrs and finally got it last year... greencard save my life!
