I was admitted into Peabody but I am having second thoughts about majoring in education. How hard would it be to switch to College of Arts & Science if I later change my mind?

Ridiculously easy – you just need above a 1.7 GPA, I think. And you can technically only transfer after your first year at Vanderbilt, but even that’s not really true; my best friend planned on transferring from Peabody to A&S at the beginning of his sophomore year, and as a result, didn’t even take a single Peabody class his second semester freshman year. You have plenty of time to decide, and it’s a breeze.

Yep. People do it literally all the time. As Speechie said, you can take classes in A&S before you even transfer .
