<p>i'm applying for the peabody, which i totally love, but i'm not completely sure. if i only apply to peabody, how hard would it be to switch the the arts&sciences? thanks!</p>
<p>it depends to be honest. it is easier to transfer from a&s to peabody, but it is possible to transfer to a&s from peabody --- the only thing is they do not allow you to transfer until the end of your freshman year.</p>
<p>however, it shouldn't affect anything too much becasue you have your gen-eds to fulfill whether your in peabody or a&s.</p>

just curious though; isn't the peabody harder to get into though? I know the acceptance rate is higher, but i thought that would be due to a self-selective pool of applicants.. isn't the Peabody a lot more "prestigious" and renowed?</p>
<p>my roomate went from eng to peapbody to a&s all within one semester of arriving on campus. overall, it just takes a few signatures to make a transfer happen. but once someon goes from a more specific to A&s, it is really hard to get back.</p>
