really big factor on my college decision would be great if I could get a solid answer. Thanks!

I heard its about half the students who apply get in. Don’t have anything to back that up. Take a look at the grade distributions for yourself.

Some of the pre reqs for Kelley that you might take are : Bus - K 201, Math- M 118, Math - M119, Econ - E 201, Bus - C 104, etc.

If you’re willing to put in a 100% effort, it’s not too bad. Just balance out the difficulty of classes in your schedule. Most of the students that I saw get rejected, partied too hard or had poor study habits. Probably because they didn’t expect the classes to be as difficult as they actually are.

I just recently finished my first semester and got into Kelley as a standard admit. Personally, the kelley prereqs are really not that hard. I mean, if you are taking this really seriously and don’t party too hard I think you will be fine. I think why most students did’t get in is like what nico52 said, they either partied too hard or had poor study habits. I think even Econ-E201, who most people said were the hardest class of all, is not that hard as long as you take it with the right professor and study hard for it (an 81 is still an B for that class). If you run into any problems, don’t hesitate to ask for help and most important of all, don’t skip classes unless you absolutely have to.

So in the end, I would say that Kelley really isn’t that hard to get into as you put all of your effort into it. I know partying sounds really tempting during your freshmen year, but unless you are a super genius who doesn’t need to study to get good grades, I would suggest to the cut back the partying until you get into Kelley.

It depends on your freshman and sophomore year, if you can get straight As(few B,B+ maybe) you should be fine

If you go to class and put the amount of time and effort into learning and understanding the material will get into Kelley indeed.

Truth is if you can’t get at minimum all Bs for one semester you probably shouldn’t be in Kelley anyway.

I agree with KennethLay. The only thing I’d add is that you need to take the right classes. I see some students who don’t get into Kelley because they way overextended themselves as freshman when there was no reason to do so.
