How hard is it to transfer from UCR to UCI?

I’m just wondering, what are the requirements to transfer from UCR to UCI after two years?

It is possible - but you’ll be competing with all the CC applicants who are the school’s top priority. You can probably use TAG as a framework to make the move (courses, GPA, etc) but, you might need a slightly higher GPA.

This tool can give you a feel for how students entered UCI - and you’ll see there are several UC-UC transfers.

I’d encourage you to really dig into the opportunity UCR presents. It is a very good school. If you get engaged and become part of the community, you probably won’t want to leave.
