How hard is it to transfer to AU?

I am an international student and would like to go to AU , anyone knows the real stats for transfer student?

Transferring to AU is pretty easy. I don't know of any specific stats, but if you have a GPA of 3.3 or above from any accredited institutions, you should have no trouble getting in. I think some get in with lower a GPA. Somebody said earlier in this forum that AU takes anybody with living pulse as a transfer. I think that's about 75% true.

Are you serious? I haven't done a ton of research on it, so I'm not sure if I'll go through with applying, but it's on my list. I'm going to have pretty close to a 3.3 when I apply to transfer in a few weeks (if I end up applying to AU), and I had considered it a bit of a toss-up. That gives me more confidence.

swmass - I highly doubt AU takes anyone with a pulse. It is interesting how you seem to always offend AU with your comments. One would think that those who benefit from AU scholarships would be less cynical. It strikes me as odd that you cannot find anything decent to say about the school that is supporting your future.

I don't know why you think that I "always" offend AU with my comments. Perhaps this post was a bit improper, but I did acknowledge that the comment (which was originally not made by me to begin with) was meant to be an exaggeration. Certainly I have not made any outright offensive comments in this forum. It is not hard to see that I am no AU enthusiast like some posters here, but I am definitely not the one who comes out and says AU sucks. I state my opinions and observations in a neutral manner. It seems that you get offended rather easily. If you have issues with my unwillingness to be an AU enthusiast, that's your problem, not mine.

swmass -- I think it is call "biting the hand that feeds you.". No, swmass you are not saying anything illegal or against the rules of CC. However, there is something that speaks to your personal values and moral ethics here.

Oh for crying out loud, Connie. Scholarship students have no special obligation to exhibit only positive opinions about their respective schools. For you to sit judgement on swmass's "personal values and moral ethics" is not only absurd, it is the height of arrogance.

There is a comparatively low retention rate at AU, so there are usually many spots that are open to transfers.
