How hard is premed at CU?

Hi (this is a 3 part post, so feel free to answer as many as you would like :D),

I’m a junior in high school who is dreaming about going to Weil for medical school (I know keep dreaming huh?). But I was wondering how hard it is to do well in the premed program at Cornell. Is it possible to maintain a 3.7? I’m about average for cornell (I get around 1350 to 1400 on the SAT when taking critical reading and math in consideration), so will I probably end up at the bottom of the class or what?

I’m thinking about maybe applying to the School of Hotel Administration because I think it would be a good major in case I don’t get into med school, so would this school be harder to get into than arts and sciences?

Also, does Cornell weight the writing section heavily? On my PSAT, I got a 1400 on CR and math, but a 470 (eek) on writing. I still managed 92nd percentile, but I was still wondering how cornell deals with writing.

thanks
