How hard is the Barron's ACT 36 book compared to the real ACT?

Give me your opinions for the difficulty of each section in relation to the real thing. Thanks :)

Someone plz answer :(

I think it’s supposed to be harder from what i’ve heard.

Yeah, it’s harder.

However, I didn’t think that it was as hard as the regular Barron’s book.

I’d say that it just has a few more trick questions, especially the math section. That is only because the whole point of the book is to tackle the toughest questions. Keep in mind, though, that it definitely has some ridiculously stupid questions that are way harder than the real test.

hope this helps :)

harder especially the math part. It makes you memorize the geometric series formula and the combination formula lol

Well, stuff like that is somewhat justifiable since that could appear as one of the hard questions on the real test.

I actually liked the book very much. I just read the mathematics section before every test, and voila!

It isn’t very helpful in the lower levels though.

Ooooh thanks guys… I’m trying to go from the 32-33 range to a 34+. I hope I made the right decision in getting this book. Sooo far I have done the English section and missed 2. What do you guys think I would probably get on the real thing? Oh and on the math, I got all of them right, but it was impossible to do them in the timespan they gave me!! I hope the real math test isn’t like that =/

It’s not, don’t worry.

Well, I got a 27 on a barron’s ACT book for Math and got a 34 on the real thing…

I love the Barron 36 for the English part. It rocks!!!

What do you guys think about the math and science part I have not tried it yet?

Barrons books are hard. after taking them I’m beaten and bruised… it hurts

Are Barron’s AP books good? Or hard?
