How hard will these classes be?

For my junior year I am planning to take the following courses in a class at my school;

AP Calculus BC
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP United States History
AP English Language and Composition

I am interesting in self studying these following courses independently;

AP Comparative Government and Politics
AP Microeconomics
AP Macroeconomics

I do not know if I should do all three of these self studies or if I should only do a few or one. Any help will be appreciated as I do not know how manageable this course load will be. Thanks.

Your in-school classes are definitely achievable. I advise you to try to start studying Micro/Macro during the summer so you can get it out of the way and then work on Comparative during the school year. Then about a month before exams review Micro/Macro along with your other exams.

Okay thanks. Do you know of any good prep books for the exams? I heard that for Micro/Macro, Princeton review is good and for Comparative Government, I heard that Ethel Woods is good. Do you think these are sufficient or should I also use a textbook?

I, unfortunately, don’t know any good review books for those exams, but I do know that in the AP Test and Preparation forum there are threads were multiple people have posted their views on certain books. Also if you still don’t feel like you found an answer, don’t be afraid to just make another thread.

Thanks, I found it.

No one can really tell you how hard your schedule is, since we don’t know how hard your school is.

Your school courses seem difficult enough (main 4). You’ll do poorly on the SAT/ACT if you burn yourself out. Try to save some AP’s for senior year haha

Okay thanks. I am planning to take the SAT in October anyways to avoid having to study for AP tests as well as studying for the SAT.
