How horrible is it to *gasp* not get straight A's?

So I got a B+ in freshman geometry, and I'm pretty sure I'll get a B in junior year physics.
If everything else I do is fabulous (SAT, extracurriculars, whatever), will those two B's still sink me? This is really stressing me out. I'm really trying to raise my Physics grade, but right now it seems like a lost cause, to be honest. I'm looking at Ivies/top-tier schools, btw.
Thanks, guys.

Lol nope you’ll be fine. If you got nothing but As on everything else, they honestly won’t even care. Gpa is like a gate, once you pass through a certain number, it just doesn’t matter any more, and the other gates (like sat and ec’s) all are more important. What does that make your gpa? A 3.9? That’s still great. Relax. You’ll be fine. :-)

You’ll have basically the same (low) chance you would have had with straight As. 3.9 is a high enough GPA.

I got a B+ this semester in AP gov. I am freaking out.

I think most people here will prefer eternal damnation than my 3.29. Even if it’s with National AP Scholar…

I got a B+ in freshman Algebra II. I promise you, you’ll be fine. If you are taking a rigorous course load and getting A’s in most of your classes, you will still be on the same (extraordinarily competitive) playing field as other high achieving applicants.

Thanks for the comfort guys <3 psh, 4.0s are overrated anyways ;)

Noooo I wanted a 4.0 through at least sophomore year :(
