So I'm pretty much doomed to get B's in AP Literature and AP Calculus BC this semester (A's in everything else including Physics C though)...dang it!

But on the transcript I've sent to colleges, I am still in the top 5% (29/630ish)....I fear that after this semester I will drop down below the top 5%.

My friend tells me that first semester grades are reported in the mid -year report? So how much will these senior year grades hurt me with regard to college admissions?

I got in ED with two B+'s first quarter senior year. Slightly different because they are quarter grades, but still, I don't think the two B's with make much difference, especially since they are in hard classes. I know for me it was because the classes are brutally hard, not because I was slacking and I think that will be evident for you in your A's in other classes.

As long as you have 3 strong years behind you (which you do), don't worry about it.
