I know SAT2s are reccommended. How important are they compared to the SATs (says one with decent SATs and not-so-hot SAT2s)? I applied ED but I wonder if I should withdraw my application since my second SAT2 is in the high 500s, but my SAT 1 is 2190. I can't retake the SAT2s in time for ED (I can't take them this Saturday).
Originally I thought NYU didn't care about SAT2s, but apparently now they do, and they'll see mine (ugh). Is the ED advantage more important than waiting and going for RD with better test scores?

I've heard that if your SAT I score is solid, which yours is, SAT II's won't hurt you. However, if your SAT I score is not so great and on the low end of the avg, low SAT II's would hurt you. I say you made the right decision going ED, which is exactly what I did with a low SAT II score of 590. I'm retaking the SAT I's this saturday and hoping to score what you scored. Don't worry about it...admissions is random.
