How important are senior year grades?

Not going to lie, I slacked some my senior year. I still passed everything, but How important are your senior year grades? And will a college not admit you if you do average that year?

It’s one-seventh of your entire package. And a better indicator of your collegiate career than your 9th grade year. Can one have a mediocre Sr year and go to college? Sure. Can this accompany an application to a very select school? Sure – but expect the consequences.

When you say ‘I still passed everything’ and ‘average that year’ that makes me think you got some very low grades, possibly something like a 2.0 average. Depending on where you are applying, that would be a serious concern for admissions. There are some places where the deadline hasn’t passed, yet. If you don’t have a sure safety on your list, you might want to consider where you can still apply and certainly get in/afford.

not as important as junior grades. just dont drop too much or simply just keep all A’s
