How important are senior year grades?

<p>I'll get right to the point. I'm currently a senior with a 3.89 unweighted GPA from frosh-junior year. As of right now, midterms are coming around, and I have 2 B+s and 1 B in AP courses. When colleges (namely my RD ivies) see that, how much of a difference will it make as to whether or not I get accepted?</p>

<p>Or am I just being paranoid?</p>

<p>If your applying using early action/decision, then no it won’t matter as much. But you have to keep your grades up after they accept on the mid-term and final report. If you applying using regular decision then your first quarter average matters.</p>
