I'm asian, born in US, and due to my dad's job, I lived in Europe (3 countries in Europe) and Africa, and now I'm back in Asia for high school graduation (unfortunately!) (i've changed HS 3 times in 3 countries..). I speak 5 languages (3 are fluent, one is AP level, one is.. intermediate.. haha)

Will this be a big boost? or does it not even matter that much since I live in Asia now, where everyone is crazy smart... is diversity really that important in college admissions?

You’re Asian and you’ve been educated abroad. So, your diversity or ethnicity does not change with the countries that you’ve lived in, you’re still Asian.

I would say that knowing 5 different languages might be a boost, not sure about living in all those different places though

Whatever benefits you’re gaining are slim to the damages being Asian are for your college chances.

Sure putting you know all those langauges wont hurt, but colleges have their own definition of “diversity”, as in they want the right proportions of blacks, whites, asians, etc. So if your asian then your still asian no matter where you really lived. IMO
