How Important is Four Years of Math?

I'm a Senior currently and I've always been ahead in math. I took Algebra 2 as a Freshman, PreCalc over the summer, and AP Calculus BC as a Sophomore. My Junior Year I did Calc 3 and Elementary Linear Algebra at the local CC. But this year there wasn't an In-Person class that fit my schedule so I signed up for Online DiffyQ. It's one week into the class and I have no idea what's going on. The class isn't organized at all as to where things can be learned and what problems to do and the book is a horrible tool for learning! I've always believed I should take math every year of High School but I'm pretty sure I want to drop this class. I mean, I don't even want to do anything math/ science related, I want to major in Econ/ PolySci.

So really, for my situation, how important is it to take four years of math?

Four years of math means four credits of high school math, not that you have to take a math class every year. You probably have a lot more than four high school math credits at this point. If you made it to calculus before your senior year, it’s not necessary to take a math class in your senior year.

Yeah, I have six credits of math that will be on my Transcript from 7th, 8th, 9th, Summer 2012, 10th, 11th.

You are more than covered.

You don’t need four years of math in your case, but if you do still want to take math, does your school offer AP stats or even a regular stats class?
