So my room is all the way in the back on the first floor, next to the RA. Do you think those factors affect anything? Like is being next to the RA make it more likely to have a bad experience? And does location on the floor/which floor make a difference? Also can you play any loud music or is that against the rules? What is the curfew/times you need to be quiet and is it easy to socialize with others? Basically everything lol
I just graduated, but i lived in 1300 all 3 years (i graduated early). I loved it there. Living next to the RA probably won’t make too much of a difference. RAs vary, but I’ve never heard of any that are super strict. In my experience location on the floor doesn’t make a huge difference. The first 3 floors are suite style for freshman and the top two are apartment style. Theres really not much of a difference outside of that. Socialization depends on the wing you’re in and the people who live there, but generally freshmen are pretty social. Quiet hours are i think 10pm-10am on school nights and midnight-noon weekends. I’ve found that unless you’re being REALLY obnoxious or its during exams no one really cares if you make a little noise. I hope you enjoy 1300, i consider it my second home, and good luck at Temple!
