I was thinking of changing my schedule, and my CHEM final is 30 minutes after my MATH final. Has anyone had experiences of this? Do you think it might be too hard on the brain?

:)

I’ve talked to a few people and they said 3 finals in a day is crazy. but two is doable. Most finals are 2 hours long, and that’s about four hours in a row of testing if you have a 30 min break. and I would think a 2 hour math final will drain your energy. some people advised me that having atleast 2-3 hours in between finals is okay.

Two finals on the same day is doable and I have had it so many times. If you can have it spaced maybe an hour in between to get food, then do it if not, then just take it anyway. I think its never good to last minute cram, even if I study hardly but the 30 minute gap is doable.

You should be fine, you can cram in that 30 minutes (as in review…not start studying) if you want, just make sure to do enough studying the night before.

Last quarter (spring) I had 3 finals on Monday, so that weekend sucked. I could have petitioned to get one of them moved, but I was lazy. It was Math2D, 2J, and an Art History class. 2J and Art were back to back (30 minutes), but both were fairly easy and I finished 2J early and had time to study some more for Art History.

I should have definitely asked to petition 2D to another day (especially considering I had three on effing Monday), it kind of sucked but I still managed a good grade.

Two is fine, three you should ask to get one moved to another day.

I’d bring water and a snack for the 30 minutes in between, maybe an energy bar (no energy drink IMO). I don’t study in between finals if there is a small break, just relax :)

On another note, if you plan on pulling an all-nighter (not advised) DON’T go to sleep. Even if you finish Studying at 5 or 6am and your Final is at 8 or 9, you have a huge risk of not waking up in time at that point.

Oh ****, I just checked my Finals schedule for Fall.

Stats 120A and Math 2E (1 hour break in between) on Monday. Monday morning finals suck.
I’m not too worried about the fact that its Probability/Set Theory and Multivariable Calc II, but I just can’t study well on Sundays :(
