Alright guys I have one more semester until I finish my classes I need to transfer to Marshall. I'm just wondering if I should even bring a car up? And is the parking there safe? Assigned spots? Indoor parking? Oh and the reason why I'm asking is I'm considering to buy a beater car to take up to USC so I don't have to worry about it.

Also can you manage living there without a car?

Thanks for the reply but you didnt really answer all of my questions about parking though. I don't really give a crap about popularity. My top priority is to get in and out as soon as possible because I don't want to be in school any longer than I have to so studying is my #1 priority. And judging from the Marshall crap curve, I'll be doing a lot of studying, thats for sure. I'm just wondering if a car is really necessary just to get by on campus. I'm talking about basic needs, going to the store, buying food etc. I'm not talking about going out and partying on weekends because thats a different story all together.

everything you need is in close proximity to campus, so a bicycle should be sufficient, but im bringin a car in case i wanna go to the beach or downtown or somethin.
