How Is the GLS Dual Degree at NYU?

Hey I want to major in Healthcare Management and the closest NYU has to this major is a Master's in Health Policy and Management. I just found out that the dual degree program is in Liberal Studies specifically Global Liberal Studies that I can get a BA/MPA in GLS/Health Policy and Management. Now I'm quite unsure about applying to NYU because I heard that the GLS is a "joke" at NYU. Also I don't know if a dual degree is worth if I get a B.A. in Global Liberal Studies. So I'm wondering what the "status" of a GLS dual/degree is? Career-wise, am I just better off getting a MPA in Health Management separately? Plus if i apply to NYU, I would apply directly to Liberal Studies, not CAS right?

“Now I’m quite unsure about applying to NYU because I heard that the GLS is a “joke” at NYU.”

Is there proof that GLS is a joke at NYU? therefore GLS students paying nearly $65K per year and increasing every year is a joke?
You must be mis-informed! I suggest you make your own research than listening or reading to other people’s opinion that has no proof!
Just my opinion…
