How is the major of Econ in UCSD???

<p>UCSD econ program is really good, ranking 14 (USA)… i guess…</p>

<p>It’s a good program, but not the best.</p>

<p>Typically, I think of Princeton, MIT, Chicago, Harvard, Stanford, and LSE to be the best economics programs. These schools have the best professors, well at least professors I’ve heard of.</p>

<p>I don’t know about UCSD, but typically, your overall GPA isn’t as much of a concern as your grade in the hard math courses like calculus, differential equations, etc. You also need a perfect/near-perfect GRE Math score.</p>
