I read up a little on it and found out that a shuttle runs a route from BC into Boston. Anyone know how much a trip on the shuttle costs?
most students take the “T” (aka subway).
There is a line that stops across the street from the campus door. But that is the slower line into downtown (~35 minutes). The alternative is the take the free BC shuttle to another T stop which is faster into downtown.
Fares are a couple of bucks with a Charlie card.
I’m a current student and can attest to the ease with which you can get into downtown Boston. The D-Line, in particular, takes you there in about 20 minutes to a half hour, depending on how far into Boston you’d like to go. I’ve actually had a couple interviews to a job, which I will soon be starting at, in the heart of the financial district, and the T will be my means of transport from nearby off-campus housing.
@appplicant What is the average price for a ride into Boston using transportation that will get you there in a reasonable amount of time?
The MBTA just voted to raise the fares by 9% - It will cost about $2.25 with a CharlieCard. The city is very accessible from the campus.
@annoyingorange $2.10
