i read somewhere on the BC site that its 6 miles from boston… they say the easiest way to get there is by the T, but there are about 20+ stops before you get to downtown boston… how long does it take, and isn’t that extremely annoying???

is there any other way of getting from chestnut hill to downtown besides taking a cab and the T?

Going by the T is actually not bad at all...ive gone up from providnece RI with my girlfriend a few times to visit. There are several stops along the way but it isnt that long or annoying, i didnt mind it at least!

My daughter claims that it's faster if you take the campus shuttle bus to the other T line rather than taking the T line that is right next to the campus. That's how she gets into downtown. Sorry, I don't know the letters of the lines.

Well, BC is on the Green Line (B train). You can take the Green all the way into Boston. It's not that bad. And Boston is worth it, I love Boston.

There's 3 Green Line options near BC: you can go down the Comm Ave Line that stops right on campus; go to Cleveland Circle and pick up the T that goes down Beacon (Cleveland Circle is right on the edge of campus) or walk a block over from Cleveland Circle and pick up the Riverside line. The Riverside line has the fewest stops - it's sort of like a suburban train line. The Comm Ave and Beacon trolleys stop more often - more stops and traffic lights.
