I just saw the Fb page and they already have over 4 thousand people in the group. Usually 5 thousand freshmen SIR And not everyone who SIR’d to uci is in the fb page so I’m pretty sure the number of who is attending next year is pretty high

Someone tweeted to UCSB admissions today and they said they will start releasing decisions mid-may… I think UCI may be doing the same thing. However, Im not sure why…
and @waitlisted1234 It would be absolutely crazy if they had 0 open spots, in my opinion.

I’m kinda sick and tired of waiting lol I have so much anxiety and during class I can’t pay attention and I just do research on the UCI waitlist haahahaa
Yeah last year at uci around 3 thousand people were offered to be on the wait list and only half opt (like 1,400) and from those 1,400 around 1,100 got in. That’s a lot of people!
Honestly that’s what gave me so much hope in the beginning till I found out that the previous year nobody got in

Plus they usually accept twice the spots they actually have for the waitlisted students in past years because only half SIR
@Javacash01 haha me too tbh @blah97blah no one got off the waitlist in 2013 because there was a 42% acceptance rate, which was higher than usual
Haha I refresh this page like every half hour! All I do during school is look up the budget crisis and if that could affect the waitlist or search up uci waitlist on social media lol
@blah97blah i’m not sure if this is true but ms sun said that even if the budget was approved, it would probably not help this year’s waitlisted people because it’s too late and they’re still arguing over it

Hey guys I just logged into my UCI portal and I went to financial aid and apparently (and I guess they did this to me today cause it says Requested 5/8/15) they are asking me to submit dependent verification worksheet and that tax stuff if you know what I mean. But usually, they ask you this if you are admitted! I looked and it doesn’t say Congrats you are admitted but maybe they might be taking people off the wait list if they are requesting these? I mean why would they ask me to submit these forms if they don’t even know if they will accept me? That would just waste my time if i fill out forms for a school I might not even get into.

go to your UCI portal and go to the bottom and you will see some things at the bottom. click on financial aid. Then it will take you to another page and go to the left and click on “Log On to my Aid” and then it asks you to log in again. When you log in, check both your financial aid award and also check the My Aid Application Status. Did you get something like this too?
