How likely am I to get housing at San Jacinto ?

I paid for the $50 housing app on December 14th. However, the $300 housing app with all the dorm preferences I was not able to fill out until last week. Does this preference one matter with regards to my standing on the waiting list? And how likely am I to get San Jac housing if they use the December 14th date?

Also am I less likely to get San Jac if I put single space as my first preferred choice? Would it be easier for me to get in if I put shared space as a my first choice?

Based on a reply from housing department, priority for room assignment is based on housing application date order. That’s the day you paid the $50 deposit in December in your case. Single room in San Jac is limited and your application day is comparatively late. But you never know, just wish for the best.
