How long after we get the UMID# do we get a decision?

I received an email from Michigan this morning saying that my application was complete, and to check my status on the Wolverine Access webpage.

How long from now should it take to get a decision?
Has anybody been admitted yet?

Thanks

If you’re applying Early Action, and have all of your materials (including recommendations, test scores, etc, etc.) in before November 1, you’ll receive a decision no later than December 23rd.

There is no set time that it will take to make a decision once your application is complete. You could wait 2 weeks or you could wait 8 weeks.

In previous years do decisions start to be released on/immediately after November 1st, or is the very first wave not until the 23rd?

They’re released on a semi-frequent basis in November - December once they’ve got a good sized stack to release and somebody decides to release them.

It used to happen that a large group of decisions would appear on Wolverine Access weekly or every other week after midnight Thursday turning Friday, but as far as I know, this was never confirmed as intentional and I don’t know if it still occurs.
