So my son was rescinded from SDSU due to a grade error on his transcript that showed a D in a class. He resent it once his teacher reported his final grade for the class but it was too late then (he got a solid C first term and a B in it the second term). (Long story initial grade reported was not his final grade, he was away on a school trip when teachers had to turn in grades. She adjusted his grade when he got back.)
Anyway, he appealed. Included a letter from his teacher and transcript. He clearly meets the grade standards to be reinstated but there is no telling what SDSU will decide. We’ve been waiting 6 weeks. We’ve already paid for housing initial fee, orientation, id card, placement tests etc… He had 2 roommates that he had accepted.
And now we wait. At some point I think even if they do say yes it might be hard for him to get the classes he needs or housing.
How long did your appeal take?
Any success stories? With so many applicants I feel like the school really has no need to reinstate him
Have you called
