<p>I did not realize that SAT scores would take 1-2 weeks to be sent as this is my first time sending scores. I have gotten all my SAT scores but have not sent out any of them yet. I am applying for RD this year, and the deadline for most of the schools I am applying to is 1st Jan 2014. Should I use the Rush Score Report for all my schools or just go for the regular, $11.25 report? I also heard that some schools do not accept Rush Score Report. I am applying to mostly the Ivy League schools. I am really nervous. Thank you so much!</p>
<p>Order scores sent regular delivery immediately. Then when you have time after doing that go to each school’s site and explore to see if it expressly says anywhere that scores are actually required to be in the college’s possession by the Jan 1 application deadline. If it does not say that, you are likely fine since most colleges accept scores that arrive a week to two after application deadline and many of them, lincluding all the ivies, even accept scores from the January SAT test. If the college says the scores must arrive by the application deadline then you might consider sending a rush order set of scores to it. However, even that is likely unnecessary including because the usual procedure, when a college sees something is still missing after an application deadline, is for the college to send you a notice stating you must get it in quickly or your application will be denied. In other words, it gives you a second chance to submit supporting materials such as official test scores.</p>
