I'm just about to send my SAT scores to schools, but the site says it will take some 2-4 weeks for some schools to receive them by mail. This barely makes the January 1st deadline, and could possibly be very late. Will I be disqualified or something if colleges don't get my scores before their deadline?!

First, most schools won't penalize you if you got your application in on time. They understand that you can't control everything else. It's going to take them a week or two to sort out all the mail that arrives on the day of the deadline anyway.

But if you're anxious (and have cash to burn) there's a rush service at College Board that will get the scores out in 2 business days. Even with holiday mail delays, they should get there in time. It costs around $35 per score report.

Schools take an enormous amount of time to sort mail... As one example, my EA school (with the due date on Nov 1) was still telling me they were missing parts of my application around Novemeber 20th, but when I called to ask about my missing transcript etc, they told me they were still sorting mail, and sure and certain, they listed my application as complete two days later.
Basically, its incredibly likely that your SATs can come in a week and a half or two weeks late and the admissions office won't even notice!
Also, about the rush service, I've seen that a couple colleges say it is a waste of money if you're submitting them to the college via online.

Has anyone heard about any schools that don't accept rushed score reports?

how come for some colleges it doesnt show the delivery method and the estimated receive date? Does that mean it wont accept it?

Davis, riverside, and santa cruz seems to do this, anyone know?
