How long does it take to improve 200 points?

I'm a senior about to take the SAT I for the second time, June:670 Math, 540 CR, 570 WR, 1780 total. I'm trying to get at least reach 2000. It would be great if I got around 2050-2100. I have 3 weeks to prepare for a SAT II, Math Level II, and about 7 weeks to prepare for the SAT I. How much time do I have to put in everyday to achieve the results?

That is a very loaded question and clearly highly depends on the individual. There is not a magic number of days or hours. I will share with you my own sons situation though, he had scored around a 1900 the first time, he was able to bring up his writing score over 180 points the second time just by concentrating on successful writing tips in Barons. He did several math SAT's every week, I mean almost daily.....so he was very well versed in the math as well and brought up his score about 140 points or so. Practice makes perfect. There were times I had to ask him to stop studying for it, but his intense period of about 4 weeks studying on a daily basis did in fact pay off.I was really impressed and proud of his improvement and dedication to setting a goal and achieving it. I would say practice online and with the books, he found the vocab the hardest thing to improve on since its somewhat proven that the surefire way to really improve is to be or have been a voracious reader. Lots of luck to you, if he is any example, through determined practice you can bring up your score significantly.

lots of studyign

i got a 1780 on my first practice test....after about 2/2.5 months of work. I actually took the SAT for real. I got a 2100.
it depends on how hard you want to study...and if you 1780 was because you didn;t know how to do things or you had problems with timing/werent familiar with the test or watnot.
