how long does it take to reassign OVERFLOW assignments

<p>Have any of you ever been assigned overflow assignments or know anyone that has? If so do you know how long it takes them to reassign? Do overflows go before the temporary triples and such?</p>

<p>temp triples are overflows.
they make the timetable pretty clear in the email. what they dont make clear exactly is where they’re going to move us. i doubt it’ll be into triples, but i then i cant think of any alternatives.</p>

<p>i apologize, i confused my sources. a grad student posted this in the UF '13 group on facebook:</p>

if you have a housing contract for Fall '09/Spring '10 you’re guaranteed on-campus housing. </p>

<p>Depending on which email you received, that will determine what assignment you will be given. Some students received emails that they will receive their permanent assignment within the next three weeks. </p>

<p>Students who received the “temporary overflow assignment” email are guaranteed an overflow assignment of A/C Graduate and Family Housing apartments, A/C room with RA, or A/C academic housing (ex. rooms typically reserved for traveling faculty, etc.).</p>

<p>Rent prices will be sent in the assignment email. </p>

<p>We anticipate that you will be in your overflow assignment until late September, at the lastest. Your rent will be prorated when you move to your permanent assignment.</p>

<p>Graduate and Family apartments are located throughout campus.</p>

<p>Continue to check your UF webmail for updates from housing.
