How long does it usually take to finish the supplements in the common app?

^^^^^^^^^ self-explanatory. :] Thanks!

Really depends on the school, I'm trying to look back. Hmmm, let's see, 11 common application, 10 with supplements, 5 of which had essays [two of which had optional essays which I didn't do], so that leaves me with 4 short answers and 1 full essay for the left over three - roughly 3 hrs [1/2 for the shorts, 1hr for the long] plus all the damn paperwork about 2 1/2 or 3 hrs, so I would say about 5 1/2 to 6hrs, maybe a little more.

It took me a month to do 2 long essays and 5 short answers for two colleges (USC/UCLA).

Each Essay edited by 5 different people including one professional.
You really should have started your essay this summer when you are free from pressures of school homework and tests.

Essay is the only long part. As for recommendations, just give your teacher a week or two to write one.

i did...i have about 3-4 essays (VERY rough draft)

i guess the ultimate variable is the time spent on the essay?

any other thoughts?
