<p>I had 50, but whittled it down to 18. I’d be absolutely delighted to go to any of the eighteen, so cutting the list even further is reeeeeally hard!</p>

<p>The average is supposed to be 5-8… I guarantee you wouldn’t go to/ cant afford half of those schools</p>

<p>Out of curiosity, how do you guys get so many schools? This is my list:
-Kansas University
-Kansas State University
-Newman University
-Wichita State University
-Fort Hays University</p>

<p>And that’s about it. My pockets are filled with lint so I don’t think I’ll attempt applying at a big shot school.</p>

<p>OP, REALLY? lol. You’ve got some downsizing to do. Narrow the list down to schools you seriously want to go to. Not just schools that “seem” interesting. You don’t really want to be writing 36 essays, do you?</p>

But 2 of them are safeties , and one is a ummm , will I don’t really know, some people say it’s a reach for me and others say iam a perfect fit to it.it’s my first choice actually. Let’s see how things go.</p>

<p>i have 25 and almost all the schools i am applying to are on your list of schools.
i think 20-25 is a good amount esp. since the topics for most of the supplement essays overlap each other.</p>

<p>My school only allows us to apply to 8 private colleges (but unlimited publics), which I think is a good thing…I’m a junior, so I don’t have a full list yet, but I can’t imagine having over 15. Apps would take forever…</p>
