How Long it took you to transfer out from CC ?

<p>Hey CC students , I am curious how long it normally takes on average for you or anyone you know to transfer out to a 4 yr university ? Does it matter that you took more than 2 years to transfer out ?</p>

<p>The process normally takes 2 years(It will take me 2 years and 1 semester since I don’t feel like taking summer classes). It doesn’t matter if it takes you more than 2 years. Most CC students in california even stay for 3 years.</p>

<p>A friend of mine transferred out after just a year. I’m attempting the same. Really, the process depends mostly on how long you yourself wish to stay at the CC :)</p>

<p>Wow… Why the rush ? I wouldn’t say that’s impossible but you’'ll be taking a heavy load throughout the year… Worth it ?</p>

<p>2 years + 1 semester. I changed majors and 3 classes did not transfer over. It’s worked in my favor because otherwise I would’ve had to apply to the same schools as my friends last semester. Now I don’t have to worry about the competition :)</p>
