Had mine on Thursday night . . . It was about 45 mins long, but that’s because my interviewer was in a hurry (at least it seemed so). We clicked, so I’m sure it could have lasted longer.

Mine was a little more than two hours…in which some silence did unfortunately occur…~~But I tried to ask questions about the school to fill in the silence, and more importantly to get more info…I hope I did alright. My friend had a Georgetown alumni interview during which the alumna rarely asked her questions…And it lasted for an hour and a half.

Whether your interview was 30 minutes or 3 hours long, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. One could argue that the longer it went, the more interested the interviewer could be, but bear in mind that it’s not necessarily good to have it that long and it’s also not necessarily bad to have a short one. Interviews do NOT weigh that much towards your app (unless it was extremely unique and well or it went completely downhill which both cases are very rare). It’s supposed to be an opportunity to reveal more about yourself and also a chance for you to ask the interviewer more questions about the university. Good luck to all!

I think 45 minutes to an hour is the average for interviews from my experience with another kid. I’ll be cross if S2’s interview is overlong - he’s being asked to go into Manhattan for it and it’s on a weeknight, so it’s going to eat into homework time.

I’d say mine was about 35-45 minutes long, but that’s because I was scheduled right before the next tour, so I was kinda in a rush v.v It’s ok though…For the most part it went really well, there was a few awkward pauses but I made her laugh a lot and she said I was very ambitious and then I gave her a hug XD

But yeah, she seemed very quiet and I did most of the talking :P
