<p>How long have you had Princeton as your number one choice? For me it's been about a year.</p>

<p>7 years. lol i'm not kidding. we live close by and went on an elementary school field trip to learn about the history of princeton. it was love at first sight.</p>

<p>A corollary to my last question...when did you start working toward a Princeton-caliber school...i.e. stuff like putting together a top-of-the-line resume, etc.?</p>

<p>Honestly? Despite studying hard for the SATs and SAT IIs, I didn't do anything solely for the purpose of applying to the top schools. I chose all of my extracurriculars because I was/am genuinely fascinated by them.</p>

<p>But if you mean when did I start working on my applications? About a month and a half ago.</p>

<p>About 2 1/2 years. Didn't start looking into colleges 'til sophomore year and I fell in love at first thought :)</p>

<p>And I've never really considered 'This will look good/bad on a college app' to be a valid point for/against any activity. Might hurt me in the end, but I've really enjoyed my HS experience and that's all that I can hope for.</p>

<p>lol...i went to watch some chinese acrobat show in the fourth grade...i though the campus was GORGEOUS!</p>
