Does anyone know the typical range of AP exams required to get State AP?
I currently have ~17 the end of next year. I just want to know if I have a chance.
I'm not in CA, TX, NY and FL so besides those competitive ones.

Hmmm. Interesting how a different state would make it less competitive (It actually does and I’ve heard as few as 12 apparently)… In CA you need about 20-21, and I find that highly feasible that I’ve been through 19 of them (just don’t want to pay for the 4–psych, stats, both econ, I know I can get a 5 on but don’t need the credit) and could have easily taken on European History / Computer Science / Physics C. Besides quantity actually does trump quality, and I know a person with 20 that succeeded in CA.

They go quantity, then quality.

It usually 15-18, based on the [massive] data I have combed through.

Also, to win, your AP average ** must be above 3.5**.

Also, since you are from Maine [based on you CC Location], I’d think you’d have a valid chance.

Also, know that the male winner is almost always harder get than the female winner

In 2012 in WI the male winner (from our school district) had 20, with a 5 on 18 of them.
