^not really, theres a bunch of money riding on these scores for most people

^ Are you one of those people?

Kind of nervous. Just not going to think about it for about a month.

I’m nervous because I don’t want to disappoint my teachers. My Euro teacher put the pressure on us this year, continually telling us we had the chance to beat “the Fabled Class of 2001” by earning the highest percentage of 5’s. He even seems to measure a student’s worth by their AP score, smugly saying things like, “So-and-so thought he was a know-it-all; he got a 3!” My chem teacher predicted I’d get a 5 but I think he overestimates me. He is even going to e-mail us our score right when he gets them in early July. It’s one thing reading the score on the impersonal score report from Collegeboard, but hearing it from your teacher whose high hopes were in vain, that’s hard.

AP scores DO matter. Colleges look at the AP scores to really see how successful a student will be in college. Let’s say two hypothetical students: Student A and Student B get Hard Teacher and Easy Teacher respectively. Student A gets a B and Student B gets an A. Colleges won’t know if it was because the teacher was “easy” or “hard”.

nuclear matches, each test is essentially worth $2,000 in exemption from introductory college classes and can permit students to graduate a year early if they desire to do so.

I’m more nervous now because after looking through the AP Chemistry FRQ’s, I realize that I may have failed the exam. :/

You guys need a confident boost lol.

But I care about my scores for 2 reasons.

College credit to save that money(I would rather spend $87 than $2000)

Looks impressive on colleges apps if I get higher scores(like 5)

Worried about getting a 5 on APUSH and AP Bio. For AP Bio, 2 of my frqs were mediocre but they answered the question. I think the MC was okay. For APUSH, it’s the opposite. The Frq’s were fine but the MC was a tad hard. It won’t hurt me if I get 4’s, but 5’s would always look nice.

Self-studied some major-relevant APs (Calc BC, both Physics Cs, and Comp Sci), and I’m worried about getting 4s on E&M or CS, because they’re pretty much all I can show to colleges about anything I know about these subjects. (Never took a physics or CS class.)

I’m not concerned because I know I did great.

For AP WH My class was hard and I didn’t even feel like taking the AP exam because I thought I didn’t have a shot at a 5. I thought I was going to have to skip an FRQ because I wasn’t going to know anything. But the test was so much easier than I thought.

Im not nervous for those scores because I definitely expected to do bad but I now expect a good score. But for AP Chem I definitely thought I had a chance at a 5 because I studied so much but now since that test was harder than I thought I am ddefinitely nervous since I don’t expect my same chances at a 5.

I’m not nervous for Physics, English Language, Environmental Science, or US History, because I’m practically certain of 5s for those. I am nervous for English Literature, Spanish Language, and Human Geography, because on all three although I know I did well on the multiple choice I may have messed up on the FRQ. Music Theory, I don’t know what to think, I probably got a 5, but I don’t really know how the test works.

I am super nervous seeing as I bombed the frqs for macroeconomics, I omitted questions in lit because I thought I could and Pitt requires a 5 for credit, and I did not finish an frq for world history which makes me think I won’t get the coveted 5. Also, I need to do well to lower my college expenses.

I WAS really nervous the few days after the tests. I’m over it now.
I know I got 4s or better on all my tests, likely all 5s - and anyways the universities I’m considering will be all right with a 4 on almost all AP tests anyways. The only test I would really care if I got a 4 instead of a 5 on is Euro… my favorite subject. And I screwed up that DBQ by misreading a document. Stupid me.

Yeah, getting kinda nervous now.

I am still nervous since i took the AP exams!

AP Envir. Science - I am pretty nervous about this one. I probably got a 1 or 2 on this one. It will be a HUGE miracle if i get a 3. However, i am least concerned with this one.

AP U.S. History - I am SO nervous about this one. It was my teacher’s first year teaching AP, and he SUCKED. He’s nice, but not AP material. I took the 2001 exam prior to the AP exam in my teacher’s classroom and i scored a 50/80. He is relying on me that i get a 4 or 5. However, it would be good if i get a 3.

AP Eng Lang - I am not that worried about this one; it was relatively simple. The MC was pretty easy, the Synthesis was SUPER EASY since it was environmental, the Rhetorical was eh, and the Argument was my best. Hoping for a 4.

AP Euro - I made really, really, really stupid mistakes on the MC. I knew the answer but totally put the wrong answers. Ugh, so stupid. The DBQ I feel like I did okay on, but missed so much potential on stuff I knew. The FRQs I pretty much bombed, as I ended up leaving out so much stuff that I even outlined in my booklets when it came to writing it. All these stupid mistakes most likely cost me my 5. :/
