How many A's have you received at Cal?

During your time at Cal so far, or if you already graduated, how many A's have you received/earned?

I've had like one... but it was an A-, and I'm going to be a second year lol. I must say though, that A- felt REALLY GOOD.

For the sake of not stirring up debates about class difficultly and/or the "my major is harder than yours" arguments, just avoid listing your majors. This is just meant to be a little fun survey.

First semester, straight A’s.
Second semester, straight B’s.

Not sure what happened. :(

5 As and 3 A-s. Going to be a second year.

Yeah ok, this is starting to make me look bad haha.

I’ve gotten two A’s and one A-. Damn near shat my pants in ecstasy :D

1 A, 1 A-

everything else was not so nice.

11 A’s and 4 A-'s! And a few P’s lol.

Sad thing is that I study like a ■■■■ too.

Well i think it helps if you also list your major. Isnt like a 3.5 gpa godly in engineering vs. a 3.5 in american literature?

I got like 22 As out of like 40 or so classes I took? The rest were B of some sort and I think I might have had one C+ in there? I don’t remember exactly. I finished with just above a 3.5

Thanks for posting this! I was starting to think I was stupid and I’ve only taken ONE session.

3, out of about 12 classes (including A-).

This is because I do not try.

6A’s, 1B, 1P

Can you guys also write what your plans are after your 4 years at Berkeley? For instance, go to USC grad school, get a job, take a year off, etc.

2A, 3A-, 2B+, 1P , looking into grad school

@jonnosferatu- what do you mean you don’t try? I’m sure almost all students at Cal try, just maybe they always feel like other people are working harder, although they are working pretty hard themselves.

Don’t try as in we should be going over more than we are. (part of the reason I got a B). I should’ve gone over every single thing, and then I was like whatever. I’m done. Hoping it wouldn’t be too difficult. Btw, I LOVE ur screen name : ] after taking a session at Berkeley, I learned that milk tea’s are soooo good! That’s why I got a cold so many times, that and the ice cream at cross roads in cold weather. Not a good idea.

Transferring in for fall, but I took two classes over the summer and got an A and an A- (0.7% away from an A). Psych major planning on grad school.

My plans? Let’s see, I did the 3-4 years of real world experience already, so now I’m looking into grad schools that specialize in things like film/interactive media and subsequent studies. May get a PH.D, might get trade training and go into the industry after that. Magic 8-Ball says forecast cloudy.

Heh…this thread is living up to the hype that UCB stands for University of Competitive Bastards.

Carry on.
