How many can you miss on each section and still maintain at least a 700 for each?

From your experiences, how many questions can you miss and maintain at least a 700 on each Section?

Let's assume that each section is curved at its normal amount.

For Math (assuming you answered all questions and did not omit a single one)?

For Critical Reading (assuming you answered all questions and did not omit a single one)?

For Writing (assuming you got a 12 on the essay and did not omit a single one)?

Thank you very much.

Also, if you guys can post your previous scores and tell me how many you got wrong/omitted, it would be invaluable!

Also, I see that people on here are throwing around (760-780 for one missed problem on the Math Section, but my friend got a 680 for missing five and omitting two - January 2009 SAT.)

For CR, maybe 6 or even 7 if the curve isn't too harsh. For math, probably 4. I don't know about writing. I feel like it must have a fairly generous curve because in Dec. I missed 2 and got an 11 essay and ended up with a 790.

These are the extremes, these are limits set by the collegeboard so if assuming the maximum curve allowed these raw scores would give a 700 exactly.

M: 46/54
CR: 54/67
W: 2 essay 44/49 MC
12 essay 27/49 MC

Unfortunately that will never happen ever so really its more like this.

M: -4
CR: -7
W: 4 essay, perfect MC
12 essay, -10 MC
