How many questions can you miss in each section and still get 800's on CR, math and writing?
Ryan

This varies by tests. For CR, max is probably 1-2 but its rare. For math, its probably like 1, and its really rare. For writing, probably 1 also, considering a perfect essay. These are not like the SAT 2's. They are extremely rare.

The math curve has been atrocious recently, and I think for most tests you can't miss any to get an 800.

For writing you can usually miss about two questions as long as you have a 10+ on your essay.

last sat, i OMITTED TWO math questions, and ended up with a 750... yea the math curve is pretty insane..

i missed one on the writing, and still ended up with 800, tho...

wow math curve getting harsher with all the new things?!
last time I took the old SAT I got 4 wrong and ended up with 730

i got 2 wrong in maths in may and got a 790, i think 2 wrong in writing +10 in the essay and got a 770. forget CR. my friend though who took it in June got 780 in writing with the same 10+2wrong but i think he got 3 wrong in maths and got 760. its pretty steep.
