you need 25 out of a possible 32 at my school. 32 would mean 8 classes every year. Because of community college classes and such, I will have 35 credits when I graduate.

Just curious, does more credits look advantageous to colleges at all?

at my school, credit = full year course
4 of English (Senior year one can either take AP lit or two of a variety of semester-long English IV courses)
3.5 of social studies (world history II in 10th is a semester course)
4 of math
4 of religion
2 of a lab science (bio, chem, physics)
2 of Latin
2 of a modern language (German, Spanish, or French)
1 of art/music (most take half year of art in 9th, and a half year of music in 10th)
1 of PE (taken freshman year, sophomore year, we are required to play a sport)
We have a lot of requirements, leaving very little wiggle room and almost no electives. It's really annoying.

220 credits (5 credits = 1 class per semester)

I think it breaks down to this:
40 credits of English
30 credits of History
20 credits of Mathematics
10 credits of Foreign language or fine arts
20 credits of Physical education
20 creits of Science
5 credits of Directions
5 credits of Health & Safety
10 credits of Computer technology
80 credits of Elective
