Excluding time to do my homework, usually 0-1 unless I have a test the next day. Then it’s 1-2. Pre exam weekend and exam week are very different stories. Then it’s usually 2-3 hours after school and homework and 6-7 hours on the weekends and 4-5 hours between exams (I usually have one exam a day).
I need to study more
Haha that’s funny. I study for 5-10 minutes for all of my classes each day. If I have a test the following day, I might study for 10-15 minutes, if that, but only if I feel worried about the subject material. I don’t think I believe in studying??? This will probably change soon, but I pretend that homework is sufficient amount of studying (though altogether for all my classes, is 20 minutes-3 hours (rarely)).
I don’t study daily for my classes. Is that what most people do? I just study the day before a test, the study time ranges from 10 minutes to 3 hours depending on the test. Of course, I do my homework everyday too.
Strange. I dont study daily either but i can tell it will help a lot
I don’t study; the only class whose tests I (sort of) study for is math, and that’s just because the more times I do problems, the less silly mistakes I make (essential in the era of no partial credit). Also occasionally chemistry, but that’s just if I need to get a 96+ on the test (and even then, my studying consists of around 20 minutes of staring at the book and thinking about how dumb it is).
I typically don’t study for my classes the night before even though I should. I usually study on the day of the test either before school starts or during lunch for a few minutes.
Only if there’s a test and I have no idea what’s going on, then I might knock off an hour or so of studying.
To be honest, I rarely study unless there is an upcoming test. As I type this, I should be studying for an AP Chemistry mock exam that I’ll be taking tomorrow (yay fun). If there is an upcoming test, I will often study 1-2 hours and I usually do well on most of them.
Then how does everyone manage 3 AP classes with rarley studying?
@BerkleyGG I have pretty good in-class notes and I’m not taking any APs this year.
@BerkleyGG I’m not taking any APs, but I am taking two weighted classes (AP-equivalents) and two additional honors courses, and I don’t find it difficult at all. Next year, however, when I’m taking four APs, I probably will have to study.
@BerkleyGG I study, just not everyday. I just cram it all in the day before the test. I’m taking 3 APs.
About 4 hours every day. 7 AP tests
@BerkleyGG I’m taking two AP classes and I seem to be doing fine in both of them. I guess it just depends on the person. Last year I took two APs and three weighted classes and I did fine as well that year. All I’m worried about is studying for AP tests xD
Um, about I’d say, 5-6 hours every day, normal, with AP testing, or a test, its about 7-8, worse if I procrastinate, or have an EC after school and am late home.
Weekends though, I study all day, Fridays I don’t study unless going out on weekend and tehrefore one of the days I can’t study, I’ll make it up on Friday.
@hailey5799 what are ur classes?
This is a really interesting question, but I really think it depends on you as a person, and the difficulty of your classes.
I don’t study everyday, mainly the night before a test, or if I’m really ahead of the game, two nights before. Depending on the class, I study a lot or very little. For AP Chem tests, I normally watch online videos that can take 4-5 hours, but for Spanish tests, I normally study only 20 minutes to go through vocab and stuff. For my other classes, I normally study about an hour to two hours.
I’m in 6 APs, and a junior.
- Should probably start working on that...
