excluding papers (which I love love love to write and will take about 3-5 hours on) I usually spend 10-15 minutes per class... often before school, or during lunch.

^ DAMN...what kinda school do YOU go to? x.x

lucky...

It's called public school. (:

ETA: oh, and I'm one of those obnoxious slacker-types who puts no effort into classwork and still gets mostly A-/B+'s. Doesn't that just make you mad? (:

lol..yes it does

but, thatll just screw u over in the end.

Nah, I really do have a good work ethic; I just don't need to study or spend much time on work. I'm not setting out to be valedictorian or get into an Ivy, but I could if I wanted.

than why DONT you?

I'm not specifically targetting you, because i know many other people like you, but i get annoyed when i see people with all the potential in the world, but they dont try for their best - they waste their potential. On the other hand, there are people like me, who hard really hard to emulate those who simply dont even try at all.

^true dat! ;) I'm like u aguynamedpoop!

That's not what I want from life. I mean, sure, good grades are important to me, or I wouldn't be in all honors classes and I wouldn't spare any thought to school at all, but the fact that I'm 65th in my class instead of 5th isn't causing me to lose any sleep. You only live once, and I'd rather have a good time in high school- make as many friends as possible, do as many plays as possible, avoid going to as many pep rallies as possible.

Also, I'm a theatre kid, and it's been scientifically proven that stress has an adverse affect on the voice. (:

out of curiosity, do u plan to go to a CC or State College (no offense)?

asifkhan, I'm going for musical theatre, but even if I wasn't, I wouldn't go to CC or state school. (: I'm prejudiced against them after years of my parents telling me "grades like these will get you into state school!" every time I didn't get straight A's.

ChellyBelly: i am the same way. Dont study much, do little homework and get mostly As and a few Bs. i dont really care that im ~15 in my class. Just happy to have a bunch of friends and having a good time.

oh, okay. just curious, since it may be difficult for you to get into some 'strong' undergrad programs. I guess it won't be the case for Musical Theatre.

last year, my analysis teacher gave me 2-3 hrs hw per night and the rest of my hw sums up to around 1 hr but senior is sweet cuz i took bs classes that would look good on transcript but are ridiculously easy =P
