how many hrs do you spend on homework?

However long it takes.

haha well i spend like an hour tops on my homework so i dont think i can relate.

A lot of times I've skipped math and physics problem sets. There's just too much! I keep all of the problems until about two days before the test, and then I do them all at once, as practice. Those nights, I'm up till maybe 1 in the morning. Other nights, I make sure to get to sleep by 10:30. Doing my homework is worthless if I'm asleep in class.

With 3 AP's and Precal Honors Junior year, I usually spend 1-2 hours doing the busywork, depending on the day. But on Thursday nights, I have to go hardcore and spend 3-5 hours to prepare for Friday's tests.

This was a dramatic difference from Fresh/Soph year however, when I spent 30 minutes to an hour on average, doing sloppy work. How the times have changed...

What was your guys' most time consuming class? Mine is AP US History--oh how I loathe that class. 20-40 pages reading (textbook style) each and every week in addition to a project of 5+ hours each quarter is not my idea of easy work, and my procrastination does not help. But good thing all turned out well and I look forward to the easy breeze of Civics and Econ.

Definitely APUSH. Out of the 3-5 hours spent on homework, usually 2-3 were spent solely on summarizing chapters in our book, taking notes on primary sources, or answering ambiguous totally pointless questions. I would have died if I hadn't gotten a 5 on the AP. The good thing is though that I didn't study for the actual AP test at all, because I already spent so much time on the material. Thank god I'm taking Gov this year. I'm hoping it's way easier.

My time consuming classes are AP Euro and english 2A. In english I always have some type of thesis paper to write..

It usually takes me 2-3 hours, but it depends.

i only have like an hour of actual homework, but i study for 2-4 hours.

I would NOT take APUSH...I just love AP EURO too much. :D

about 3-4 hours last year, but it will be more this year cuz i'm taking 2 ap's.

I'm taking 5 AP classes - I usually get anywhere from 5 to 7 hours of homework per night.

depends on which day, usually at least 5

well sophmore with one AP and one honors it took about 2.5 hours. jr year with one AP and 2 honors it took 30 minutes. and I wouldn't even have hw every night.

but anyhow i usually refuse to spend more than 2 hours per night. I don't have time for any more than that because of horseback riding and violin.

I wish I was lucky like y'all! My homework hours r CRAAZY!!! It will pay off since I won't have to pay for four years of college though! :D anyway, I pretty much work on homework when I'm not having classes.

2- I do it all at home too

I'm not sure because I just had my first day today. I know I'll have more than an hour a night.

It normally takes me around 30 minutes to do homework with 4 classes..If I have tests then it takes me around 45 minutes...I get most of my homework done at lunch anyway...

First day today. It was a 1/2 day and the homework was easy obviously, but I still took me 1.5 hours to complete it.

around 3-5 hours

i go to a very very selective high school in manhattan, and it takes me an average of 5-6 hours a day of homework (assuming i arrive home a 5pm, excluding dinner and shower)

however, second semester junior year, i would stay up all night doing work once or twice a week, regularly
