Twenty-nine (including me) did. I talked with the guidance counselor.

Dayum…

AFAIK only two (including myself).

29?! You must go to a ridiculously competitive/elite school.

Four from mine.

According to last year’s statistics, when twenty-seven applied, three got in and two were waitlisted.

My school’s senior class isn’t that big either (it numbers only 256). Fairly competitive, too.

My chances look so slim!

Oh yeah, and this is a public high school (magnet) located in the ghetto. The city sends the some of the best kids there.

But I should remind you guys, that most people apply as a joke…

One: me.

I think that four from my school did (including me). I am the only non-athlete of us to apply, so I don’t stand much of a chance…unless the day that my supplemental art portfolio arrived at Harvard, they were really desperate for some artz skillz (doesn’t even matter if I am not internationally recognized or a painting prodigy–just modestly talented). God, let’s hope that they were.

i think around 10 did from mine. i go to a public school in central mass. pretty competitive.

one, too
(and the first)

80…give or take 1…-_____-"

Dayum. We might have had five or six? Out of 200 or so.

Alicimoo, you wouldn’t be attending Boston Latin School, would you? I have a friend at that school who said that “seventy-something” people this year applied.

Almost no one applies to Harvard from my school, but those to do tend to have good results (compared to the 7% acceptance rate). I suspect that the GCs are too conservative and don’t encourage good students to apply.
One got in two years ago, I’m pretty sure it was the only person to apply.
Only one applied last year, was rejected.

It’s like this all the time.

two, including me.

only one to ever apply from a public school in my country :D

7 10chars

2 that I know of, but I’m sure some people did it for kicks and didn’t tell anyone.

Only one at my D’s school out of 214. She is it - the val didn’t go for H but for Brown. D tried for B, D, and H for ivies.

Probably about 5 or 6.

I’m the only non-asian, and an athlete. So… not sure how that works out. But I do have the second to lowest test scores… lol.

1 (me)

2 for yale (me/the sal and the val)

2 for cornell (me and some recruited athlete)

that’s it for ivies… some school eh?
