How many people from your school are applying this year?

two of my friends and i make up 3, but i don't know who the last is</p>

<p>i only know of 2 from my school who are applying to harvard (me and one of my friends)</p>

<p>i think about 3-4 from my school will apply, including me and my friend, so not too much (107 in our senior class total).. last time we sent somebody to harvard was a guy about 5 years ago, who is now at harvard med. school after attending harvard college for 4 years (he is a hoss, too... he got a 42 on the MCAT)</p>

<p>3 out of 274. The top 3 ranked guys are applying but I'm the only one that even has a semi decent chance. The other two have really low standardized test scores.</p>

<p>Yeah, 40. And at least 70 apply to Stanford every year out of ~700. Last year 4/40 got into Harvard.</p>

<p>HOWEVER: i live in a tiny area, and my friend told me usually, a big school like harvard will only take one kid from a district sized like mine. so, i don't know about the areas you live in. good luck everyone who's apply!</p>

<p>I'm applying (already done, actually) and maybe one or two more people. I'm not sure--they don't really talk about that sort of thing...it's like a forbidden topic. =]</p>

<p>with that said, i'm pretty sure that 3 others and myself are applying to Harvard. I believe there's more that are being quiet about their choices so i'm guessing a good 7-10 are applying</p>

<p>our school is crap though. there barely have been ANY ivies in the last 3 years (3 years ago was 1 princeton...1 MIT last year...that's pretty much it). But my class is amazing smart, so i'm expecting more than 3 Ivies for this class actually</p>
